anyway... ... since school work was getting the better out of me for the past few months. i m unaware of what is happening around the world, as well as what the Fcuk is happening in Singapore.

It's been a hectic, but fulfillin 2 weeks so far into the Holidays.
i have lost weight. (i m now a healthy 74kg) caught up with plenty of friends, seriously looking / wooing my first girlfriend, got myself a temp job, ($5 an hr) won some money to last another 2 weeks, (Score / Toto) wore my first contact lens. went to a Club / Pub finally after 1 yr of inactivity (poverty)
and....
I m having the Worst Backachne in Years.... Yes. I sprained my lower back.

Wasn't able to last the distance while doing Banglah work. The current work environment was too much to handle. Felt that i was more of a trouble than of any help to the rest. And i got a terrible headache after inhaling a few minutes of highly poisonous gas (from spray paint). Almost got 'HIGH'...
So i left after just 1 day @ work.
Found another temp job anyway, so it wasn't so bad after all. Working with TIMES (bookstore) then now i have 3 classmates with me. Another 2 joinin on monday - Class gathering of some sort.
Been working on the new blogskin for almost 3-4 hours i guess. Editing sure isn't easy for someone like me Hope everyone would like it. . .
I have another blog - for my army brothers nsrtw.blogspot.com leave comments there - if u have any. coz i dun have time to edit that blogskin.

Before the implementation of the lifts that stops on every floor of the HDB block, my estate used to have slimmer people (well...maybe a few more).
However, i was met with a very irritating scenario today! A family of 3, chose to take the life to the SECOND STOREY! Well...what can i say? they are obviously lazy people.

In case your are wondering, these are the toys from the show - LOST, to be introduced for the Christmas season, in both the US and i think Singapore as well. Realistic right... i really admire the workmanship of the toys... really... fantastic stuffs.

Just kinda involved, immersed, and kept myself up-to-date with National issues by tuning in to the National Rally moments ago.
The first portion was for the Malay and Chinese audience, lastly roughly 45 mins. Since they did away with the subtitles, there were translations broadcasted concurrently as our PM spoke. Confusing, Annoying and rather difficult to make sense.
So the PM encouraged, persuaded, and urged Singaporeans to go overseas to gain experience, but emphasize the need to maintain close links with them. We also need to welcome foreign talent, those who has drive and the passion to succeed. The lack of new births is a real concern, though we do not need to follow the suit of Madam Esah Mamat, a 49 yr old woman in Terengganu, Malaysia, who has 21 children. She can really bear children!
Besides announcing that there will be the new Citizenship and Population Unit to be set up under the PM’s Office, and some kind of an online portal of the Overseas Singaporean Unit to facilitate nation bonding, there was an absence, lack, little talk about new policies, plans or any kind of blueprint for the year ahead. However, I am really looking forward to whole country being “wired-up” in the near future.
Once again we hear success stories of Singaporeans, as well as PRs who have achieved excellence in their various fields. Although it is nice, great, clearly wonderful to hear that poly students are now highly sought after by universities overseas, as well as the probable scholarships to be in place soon for top poly graduates, it is encouraging for me to think about putting in more effort in my studies.
Another thing mentioned in PM Lee’s speech, which I thought was rather interesting, was about introducing languages such as Arabian, Bahasa Indonesia amongst others in our schools. Just a thought, we already have a problem communicating with our grandparents, since a lot of us have not been exposed to our native dialects, are we really capable of learning another language? The simplifying of the mother tongue syllabus in schools has sparked debate before, and now we want to introduce languages so as to target the Middle Eastern and Arab nations?
There were lighter moments, such as showing of the talking cock.com website, and also hints of the PM’s apparent unhappiness over Mr Brown’s comments about certain issues. So, the most enjoyable part of the rally for me were probably the art works of CHIJ girls, and did you seem to realize that PM Lee likes, tend to, has a habit of using 3 words to emphasize his points… …
