The Botanical Gardens,
A field with a simple mat,
A night where the stars are out,
A moment,
Where the breeze was cool,
When it felt so right.
I asked,

I almost can’t believe it,
But that sparkle in my life,
One that has been there for me the past months,
Just shone ever so brightly.
Holding your hands,
Having you beside me,
Making you giggle,
Telling you a joke.
With you in my arms,
I can’t ask for anything more.
It’s our first,
And I will give everything I have,
To make sure we only have happy times,
Ride through the tough times,
I used to like you,
