And caught a nice programme on National Geographic quite some time ago.
It talked about the constructions of the 'The Palm' in Dubai, United Arab of Emirates. While the first project would be completed in the near future, estimated to be 2007, 2 more 'Palms' are in the works already...
It's one of the most elaborated and ambitious construction project ever taken, reclaiming so much land, to build resorts and private homes. Famous celebrities like David Beckham have already bought their homes in this exclusive location, where every house are priced in the millions.
After which, the programme introduced the next project lined up, which is called "The World".
Basically, there would be islands reclaimed on the ocean surface, and the final view of the entire project would resemble the map of the world.
It kinda makes me wonder...would it be a dream place to work in ? and possibly stay there as well...Mmm....i wonder?
